Union Square Grill, Seattle

An elegant, upscale
restaurant and bar with a nouveau-speakeasy feel, Union Square Grill
is nestled quietly across the street from A
Contemporary Theatre. Perfect for pre- or post-theatre dining,
an up-market business lunch or a quick cocktail after work (or
between acts at ACT), Union Square Grill certainly isn't one of the
most wallet-efficient joints in the city, but it's certainly one of
the most stylized.
It is cigar-friendly and the staff usually come equipped with a
solid knowledge of the finer things in life: a good vodka or
martini, a complimenting cigar and whether or not to follow up the
succulent bouillabaisse or porterhouse with the creme brulee.
Expect to pay between $7 and $13 for an appetizer and between $25
and $40 for an entree. They also offer pre-selected "Theatre
Dinners" for $25 if you're crunched for making it to the curtain
call at ACT.
